These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of services provided by National Civil Process, a nationwide legal services provider specializing in the delivery of legal documents (“Civil Process Service”, “Process Service”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
We provide professional civil process serving and related legal support services, including but not limited to:
- Delivery/Service of legal documents in the United States of America
- Service status tracking and reporting
- Notarized affidavits or proofs of service
- Court filing, skip tracing, and document retrieval (where available)
Our services are offered in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and rules of civil procedure.
As our client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding the person or entity to be served, including physical addresses, case details, and deadlines.
- Upload or deliver legally valid documents for service.
- Pay for services according to the pricing provided or agreed upon at the time of request.
You also agree that any false, misleading, or incomplete information may delay or invalidate the service of process and that we are not liable for such occurrences.
We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. Any information provided by us is for informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed attorney for legal advice regarding your case or the proper method of service.
We strive to provide timely and accurate service of process, but we do not guarantee that service will always be successful, especially in instances where:
- The recipient is evasive, unavailable, or refuses service.
- Incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information is provided.
- Local laws or circumstances prevent service.
In such cases, we will document all reasonable attempts and provide a non-service affidavit or declaration upon request.
Fees are based on service location, number of attempts, time sensitivity, and any special instructions. Rush, same-day, or stakeout services may incur additional charges.
Full payment is due at the time of service request unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to withhold any affidavits or proofs of service until payment is received in full.
Refunds may be issued if service is canceled before the first attempt is made. Once service attempts begin, no refunds will be issued. Partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for services not completed due to client error or other unforeseen circumstances.
We respect your privacy. All client and case information will be handled confidentially and will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling service requests. We do not sell or share client data with third parties unless required by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, National Civil Process shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of our services, delays in service, or failure to serve caused by client error, third-party interference, or circumstances beyond our control.
In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be filed in the appropriate state or federal court located in Washington County, Utah.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
